Moji African Restaurant

Moji is one of Miami’s few African restaurants, and it’s absolutely worth checking out whether or not you’re already a fan of the cuisine or looking to try it for the first time. The casual North Miami spot has a pool table and some counter seating, and they specialize in West African food. They don’t take orders over the phone, so you’ll have to come in person to get some egusi with fufu (pounded yam) and jollof rice. Both were very tasty, but the egusi is definitely something to prioritize. Moji makes this stew very spicy, with hunks of braised meat, bell peppers, onion, spinach, and a big ball of fluffy fufu for dipping and absorbing.
