Lan Pan-Asian Cafe
You can get everything you need at Dadeland Station: knitting yarn, bedsheets, kettlebells, and delicious sushi rolls. For the latter, go to Lan Pan-Asian, a small restaurant on the ground floor of the shopping center that’s been serving East Asian and Southeast Asian food since 1999. One of our favorite dishes here is the red sea roll—fried shrimp with cream cheese and asparagus that’s topped with spicy tuna and wonton crisps. It’s basically a cross between a dragon roll and spicy tuna roll that makes us want to switch Targets so we can eat it more often. Their sister restaurant is Su-Shin Izakaya in Coral Gables, so it’s no surprise the Japanese food here is good. But they also have tender Mongolian beef and slippery flat noodles on the menu. Plus, a little window where you can order bubble tea on the go.
