They have a few locations scattered around Miami, but Half Moon's 79th Street location is a casual walk-up window perfect for grabbing a six-pack of some really great empanadas. Whether you're looking for a pre- or post-beach snack, or just need something to hold you over until dinner, this place is a good choice. We've liked every version we've tried here, but particularly the cheesy gaucho empanada, which has a list of fillings that requires a very deep breath to say out loud: ground beef, diced onion, red pepper, black beans, corn, bacon, mozzarella, asiago, provolone, and chimichurri.

MiMo’s tiny Blue Collar is kind of like an upscale diner, serving a great cheeseburger, big sandwiches, and braised meats.
