This spot in Little Haiti is making some of the best tacos in Miami. It’s not a big place, but there’s counter seating overlooking the flattop where you can watch our favorite dish being made: the costra de queso with al pastor. The meat is added on top of melted, crispy cheese and rolled up like a gooey sleeping bag. They also cut and fry tortilla chips to order, so they’re puffy and crunchy when they hit the table with your guacamole. But if you want to stick to standard tacos, go for the campechano—three tacos (al pastor, chorizo, and birria) with one chicken tinga tostada. There’s not much on these—just a whole lot of beef or pork with a sprinkle of chopped onions and cilantro here and there. But the meat is juicy and crispy.
