Based out of a ghost kitchen on Western Ave., the Yellow Chili has brought their North Indian dishes to Los Angeles. This is the second location of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s restaurant (the first is in Orange County), and its menu includes a variety of soups, salads, dals, and curries. You’ll find everything from rich, buttery chicken tikka to tiny spinach dumplings filled with cottage cheese. Also included is the nalli rogan josh, a lamb shank, chili, and yogurt medley that’s hugely popular in Kashmir, Northern India and - according to their website - is a mix of “all things great.” And here we thought that description was only worthy of Steven Yeun’s face.
