Located in the quiet, mostly residential area of Glassell Park, The Grant is a pleasant and surprisingly lowkey neighborhood drinking spot. With a sleek, art deco-ish interior and craft cocktails made with ingredients like Furlani vermouth and Burmese tonic, this place wouldn’t be out of place on the ground floor of The Roosevelt. That said, instead of chaotic valet lines and lost club kids, you’ll find a low-key crowd consisting of first-date nightcaps, neighborly hangouts, and young parents getting in one last round before the babysitter calls.
