The Cliffdiver

For being a city that literally lines the coast, Malibu has few casual places where you can actually hang out and enjoy it. That’s changing now with The Cliffdiver. The new Mexican spot right on PCH isn’t directly on the water, but it’s still the perfect spot for a laid-back, post-beach hang with friends. The cocktails are strong, there’s a front patio with games, and the food is much better than it needs to be. Feel free to skip the ceviches and aguachile, and instead, double-down on tacos, chicken-and-kale nachos, and a vegetarian quesadilla that’s one of the best we’ve eaten in a while.
