Located on the second floor of a U-shaped shopping center, Tenkatori’s Sawtelle location offers a smaller menu than other locations—there’s just crispy, juicy, fresh-from-the-fryer karaage dunked into your choice of sauce. The four-piece bento box is our go-to order and comes with four pieces of boneless chicken, rice, pickled radish, and sides like potato salad and spaghetti that are filling but fairly forgettable. Get the lemony yuzu aioli for dipping, and you have a solid fried chicken meal for under $16.
