Provami Pizzeria is a solid Weho option whenever you need good Neapolitan pizzas, whether it’s Wednesday night and you don’t feel like cooking, or Friday night when you’re on your way from Snake Pit to Melrose Umbrella Co. and want to put something in your stomach between vodka sodas. You’re not going to find anything mind-blowing on the menu, but the pizza toppings are high-quality and the crust is chewy, with the right amount of char from the wood-fired oven. Our favorite is the Provami Signature - it’s a sort of pizza-calzone, with a layer of dough enclosing the top of the salami, mozzarella, and ricotta inside. It’s enough for two, but that doesn’t mean we won’t eat it all alone.

Mozza is a classic, Mozza can be very useful, but despite whatever your in-flight airline magazine’s “Spotlight on Los Angeles” says, Pizzeria Mozza in Hancock Park just isn’t the best of the best anymore.
