Preux & Proper

Preux & Proper is one of those DTLA restaurant/bars that seems like it would be a total disaster, but is actually pretty great. It’s a New Orleans cajun spot, and though they can get heavy-handed with the theme, the food is good and the space is divided between the bar and the restaurant area, ensuring an atmosphere that’s actually tolerable. Also, it’s BYOB because, you know, New Orleans.
