It seems some people aren’t totally aware that one of LA’s best casual restaurants, Plan Check, has a downtown location. Well you do now, and that means their first-rate beer list and excellent bar food is ready your after-work needs. Come Happy Hour, which runs weekdays 11:30am-7pm, there’s $5 select draft beer and house wine, $8 cocktails, and a $9 jidori chicken sandwich that’s easily our favorite in town.
Plan Check is permanently closed.

One of the more impressive restaurants in the city, 71Above still lacks enough reasons to go there.
