Melody is in a converted bungalow opposite Sqirl, and is good for many situations. Date night? Sit in the dimly-lit main room, and get some wine and French-ish food (like a chicken cordon bleu sandwich) to share. Group dinner? There’s a big side patio with heaters, blankets, and more wine. After-work drinks? They have a “wine down” happy hour from 5-7pm. The food isn’t particularly special, but with friendly service and a neighborhood feel, it’s the kind of place Silver Lake people will end up at regularly for drinks and snacks.
