Genever is a cocktail bar in Historic Filipinotown, a neighborhood that’s not exactly known for its abundance of drinking options. The well-priced gin cocktails are good and the crowd is low-key, but its over-designed, all-pink aesthetic feels out of line with all of that. We hope this place settles into being a neighborhood hang - right now it seems to be channeling more of a lounge in West Hollywood.
