Other than a whole lot of mediocre Italian restaurants and a Chin Chin that was in The People vs. O.J. Simpson, there isn’t much to be said about the food in Brentwood. But Farmshop is a major highlight. This all-day spot is a very fancy mini-market on one side, and a restaurant on the other. The market side has some excellent sandwiches, and all kinds of pastries that Brentwood people are unlikely to eat. In the restaurant, the food is insanely expensive, but way better than you’d think considering it’s both in Brentwood and that Reese Witherspoon is probably sitting next to you. Breakfast is the prime move here, but dinner is a good, albeit kind of boring, option too.
