Eko Kitchen
Where we've featured it

One of the Bay Area’s best Nigerian restaurants, Eko Kitchen, has arrived in LA. Owned and operated by 25-year-old, Simileoluwa Adebajo, the restaurant was inspired by the Lagosian chef’s desire to share Nigerian culture through food, music, and art. It first started as a pop-up dinner series in 2018, then later snowballed into a brick-and-mortar restaurant a year later. Although there is no physical space for Eko Kitchen Los Angeles (they’ll be operating out of a ghost kitchen in the Arts District), you’ll still be able to order from her full menu of chicken marinated in a house-made suya sauce, jollof rice and fried plantains, and egusi soup. Eko Kitchen opens Thursday, April 8th, and operates Wednesday through Sunday, 4-8pm.
