DSCO Sushi
Where we've featured it

Over in the Hollywood Hills, DSCO Sushi is a new Japanese pop-up serving Kyoto-style temari sushi. It’s run by the team behind Kensho, one of our Best New Restaurants of 2019, with some help from chef Yoya Takahashi, an actor-turned-sushi chef from Kyoto who’s worked in LA’s sushi world for the last 15 years. The menu is filled with boxes like the DSCO box set, an omakase meal consisting of ball-shaped sushi topped with tuna, uni, and various seasonal vegetables, plus a spicy miso soup and herb salad made with oyster mushrooms, shallots, and dill. Or the DSCO fish set, which features nine pieces of sushi, including salmon, tuna, and hamachi prepared three ways. DSCO Sushi is available for takeout only - place an order through their website.
