Colibrí West Hollywood
While we're big fans of Colibrí Hollywood, but its sibling concept in West Hollywood isn't quite on the same level. These two long-term “pop-ups” share a name, but the menus are actually very different. This off-shoot on La Cienega specializes in Italian-Peruvian dishes, like chicken anticuchos in a smoky peperonata sauce, bucatino in pesto with sweet corn, and a grilled sea bream coated in tomato sauce—all tasty but fairly simple. Overall though, Colibrí Weho feels more like a hastily-assembled activation than a restaurant. We’ll plan on checking back in if it goes beyond its initial two-month trial run.
