Chef’s Not Here is a new tapas restaurant on a rooftop in West Hollywood, and a place you could walk passed 100 times and not even realize it was a restaurant. The entrance is nothing more than a street-level staircase, but once you to the top, you’ll find a beautiful rooftop space ideal for an early-in-the-game date. There’s a great patio overlooking Weho, as well as an all-glass interior, so even if it’s cold out, you can still enjoy the views. We recommend sticking to smaller tapas dishes like the burrata and creamy polenta and skip the pastas and larger entrees. Just be sure to save room for the banana gratin dessert.
