In a part of town lacking in outdoor drinking spots, California Sun in Silver Lake is an excellent place to hang out when you’re looking for a patio on the Eastside. They also have a vegan-friendly pizza menu that will serve its purpose if you’re drunk and looking for something to munch on (we like the Kevin McCallister - plain cheese), but you’re really here for the tap list full of hard-to-find local beers on tap and by the can in a pick-it-yourself cooler.
