Cafe Caravan
Cafe Caravan is a daytime North African spot in Los Feliz that’s a great place to get work done. The space looks like a two-story cafe in Marrakech, complete with Moroccan rugs and colorful textile pillows. Aside from a taxidermied javelina that stares deep into your soul, the warm and comfy ambiance at Cafe Caravan is hard to match. The food, however, is just fine. Most dishes could use a pop of acid, salt, or spice—except for maybe the merguez sandwich with so much dijon it’ll clear your sinuses. Stick to the delicious coffee and a refreshing iced Moroccan mint tea and you’ll have a wonderful time ignoring your manager’s emails.
