Another one of Little Saigon’s most popular restaurants, Brodard features a massive menu full of solid Vietnamese dishes, but everyone is here for the nem nuong cuon. Savory and sweet pork sausage, cucumber, lettuce, and crunchy deep-fried bits of rice paper all wrapped inside soft rice paper, this is much more than a spring roll, it’s a revelation. Couple that with the fantastic pork-and-peanut-filled plum sauce that comes on the side for dipping, and you’ll never think of a spring roll the same way again.
