Brighton Coffee Shop

A Beverly Hills relic that’s somehow dodged the next-big-thing wrecking ball all these years, Brighton Coffee Shop is an old-school, NYC-style coffee shop and a solid place to pick up some bacon or eggs, or a quick sandwich before heading to Century City for that 11:30am meeting you have. The food isn’t going to blow anyone anyway (except that meatloaf), and that’s fine. You come here to drink some coffee, study all the weird people, and realize that at 86 years old, this is the oldest anything’s ever admitted being in Beverly Hills.

The menu at Il Tramezzino in Beverly Hills is big, but what you need is the chicken sandwich. It makes this cafe worth your time, for $10.

The pastries at Chaumont in Beverly Hills often steal the spotlight, but don’t forget about lunch. We’re fans of the spicy tuna sandwich.
