Bombo
Bombo serves hit-or-miss Mexican dishes in a casual dining room just one floor below the famously sceney West Hollywood rooftop E.P & L.P. The massive La Cienega Blvd. space stays far calmer than its upstairs neighbor, which makes Bombo useful for seated birthday hangs or a last-minute dinner on a Saturday night. Sit at the bar for a solo date involving some smoked guacamole and no fewer than two $17 margaritas. Or come eat tinga tostadas and duck tacos with some sensible friends who would rather sign up for a botched facelift than wait two hours for a table on the roof.
