Agua Viva
Located deep inside The Conrad—which is deep inside The Grand LA complex in Downtown—Agua Viva is an all-day rooftop restaurant and bar with mediocre views (it faces away from the skyline and mountains) and even more mediocre food. The Latin-leaning menu has a few interesting-sounding dishes like creamy crab fritters and green pepper gazpacho, but ultimately, none of the flavors are different from what you’d find at other corporate-y hotel rooftops. Considering how complicated—and expensive—it is to park here, we recommend skipping Agua Viva, unless you’re staying at the hotel or can easily walk from your office or apartment for a sunset cocktail.
