Believe it or not, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. And with it, comes a basket of holiday-related anxieties. Should I bake a pie this year? Is it weird to invite the person I'm seeing? Did cavemen eat pumpkins, too? Am I fundamentally boring because I enjoy turkey? Planning a sit-down dinner doesn’t have to be one of them. Here’s a list of Los Angeles restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner.
THE SPOTS
The iconic Atwater Village pub is offering a turkey dinner, complete with mounds of turkey gravy, stuffing, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and more for $36 per person. If you need some beef in your life, there’s a $16 add-on that includes a slice of prime rib.

Both the Venice and West Hollywood locations of this steakhouse are offering three-course menus for Thanksgiving. In addition to turkey, expect non-traditional options like sunchoke rosemary soup, slow-roasted prime rib, and cabbage baked in embers with a lemon yogurt glaze.

The oceanfront Santa Monica restaurant is serving a three-course menu. It’s a pretty traditional lineup of Thanksgiving classics like turkey and cranberry salad, plus a few fancy sides like truffle caviar mouse, lobster potato fricassee, and stuffed yellow squash.

This South LA staple feels like a small slice of New Orleans. If you dine-in on Thanksgiving, expect to eat Creole classics like shrimp po’boys, chicken gumbo, and crawfish etouffee surrounded by regulars who started coming here in the '70s. Reservations are live on their website, and since everything is served a la carte, you can spend Turkey Day eating fried oysters in a comfy booth if you please.

Over at the Downtown LA Proper Hotel, Caldo Verde is offering a three-course feast on Thanksgiving Day. The menu includes Portuguese twists on holiday classics, plus a full dessert spread with the power to realign your whole week.

Good news for poultry lovers: Sendero is doing turkey three ways this Thanksgiving, including chicharron and confit. The meal—served on the 24th floor of The Ritz Carlton DTLA—also comes with a spread of cheddar biscuits, garlic whipped potatoes, cornbread chorizo stuffing, and spiced pumpkin pie to share with your preferred company. Thanksgiving at Ardor is a grown-up affair. This dark and moody restaurant on the ground floor of the West Hollywood Edition has a three-course tasting menu and live music all night long. If you're looking to get all dressed up, valet your car, and sip chardonnay in a room full of big wigs, this is it.

The Beverly Center’s Yardbird has a special a la carte menu on Thanksgiving Day, so you can eat your personal Thanksgiving favorites for dinner (and avoid that Depression-era jello salad your grandma always makes). The main entree is a classic turkey dinner with all the fixings, plus there are a ton of sides like lobster mac & cheese, biscuit stuffing, leek potato gratin, and a brown butter bourbon pumpkin pie with honey whipped cream.

Santa Monica's Lunetta has three charming patios, a bar room with a fireplace, and a three-course Thanksgiving dinner served from 2-7pm. For $110 per person, you'll get to choose from a short list of starters, mains, and desserts. Expect crowd-pleasing classics like maple-herb turkey, gruyere-topped mashed potatoes, rum-soaked candied yams, and chocolate ganache pie.

West Hollywood’s iconic gay bar The Abbey is doing a three-course Thanksgiving meal this year. Find some people in your life who want their Turkey Day to involve friends, lobster bisque, smoked turkey, truffle mashed potatoes, and apple pie. The set menu is $59 per person, and you can enjoy it on their patio under the shade of a massive rainbow flag.

For both lunch and dinner, this Santa Monica spot is offering a three-course prix-fixe meal. No matter when you decide to show up, there will be seafood-heavy options like crab cakes, tuna crudo, clam linguine, and sea bass. Naturally, there will also be turkey, squash soup, and pumpkin pie for anyone who wants a more classic Thanksgiving meal.

This West Hollywood British pub is serving a three-course Thanksgiving dinner including roasted turkey with chestnut-apricot stuffing and a brownie sundae for dessert. If you’re vegan, The Cat & Fiddle does serve nut roast wellington as a turkey alternative.

If you want to have a three-course meal on Thanksgiving Day, head to Boxwood in Beverly Hills. You’ll dine in the glitzy lobby of the London Hotel and eat manila clam chowder, braised beef short ribs, basque cheesecake under a massive skylight. The crowd can be a bit dressy, so come here with a group that’s looking to get all dolled up.

Rather than eating at your own dining table, you can spend Thanksgiving Day at The Peninsula in Beverly Hills eating things like saffron risotto, roast turkey, and still-warm pumpkin pie. Reservations for dinner inside The Belvedere (the hotel restaurant) are available from 11am-7pm.

From November 23-26th, STK Steakhouse in Westwood is offering a complete Thanksgiving dinner with turkey breast, sage stuffing, sauteed green beans with crispy shallots, Yukon gold potatoes, and more. You can also add a slice of pumpkin pie and candied ginger cream for $12.

Sugar Palm is serving a three-course prix-fixe menu on its poolside patio at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. This is a good pick if you want to shake things up with braised venison or king salmon this year, but they do have more traditional options like turkey, too. Mac & cheese, creamed corn, brussel sprouts are all included in the price. And Sugar Palm also has a ton of vegan options.
