Newsom To Lift CA’s Stay-At-Home-Orders

In theory, outdoor dining in LA County could resume as early as today.

At 12pm today, Gov. Newsom is holding a press conference where he’s largely expected to roll back CA’s remaining stay-at-home orders, including those for LA County. In theory, that means outdoor dining could resume as early as today.

It’s important to remember, though, that LA County had already implemented its own stay-at-home orders prior to Newsom’s statewide ordinance back in December. And considering that LA County’s Covid-19 test positivity rate is 14%, (well above the 8% Tier 1 threshold), the county could easily throw water on any statewide rollbacks.

We’ll be continuing to provide updates as we get more information.
