Yosma
Close your eyes and imagine the answer to the following conundrum. Our mate ‘Beef’ from Uni is in London for work - where can a group of us go for a fun dinner?. Yosma is that answer.
Yosma is a new, lively Turkish restaurant on Baker Street (translation: a bit loud), and a great option for when you’ve left planning for that group dinner a tad too late. We know that Baker Street doesn’t immediately spring to mind for “authentic” #EEEEEATS, but Yosma do a good job of serving their upmarket take on Turkish food and matching funky cocktails to the masses on any given night.
If you’re going with Beef, or a big group (be warned that the mezze-style dishes, while very tasty, can be on a the small side), things can get expensive quickly if you’re a hungry hungry hungry hippo. It’s also one of those places where you get to share your food. So don’t come with people who don’t like to share food.
A final note on the food - you’re not going to find anything out of your comfort zone if you’ve had a kebab or hummus at least once in your life, but they have do have something completely different on the menu - a knockout dessert called the Kűnefe. We don’t want to tell you anymore apart from just order it. Oh, and to keep your friendship with Beef intact you might want to order one each.
