Tonkotsu Bankside
Tonkotsu is one of London’s better ramen restaurants, and the Bankside spot’s location on the ground floor of a very grey office block thankfully hasn’t made any difference to the quality of the food. The porky tonkotsu ramen is still one of the best in town, and they have a good-quality lunch special if you’re pushed for time. The chicken karaage (deep-fried chicken nuggets) here are awesome – you won’t regret ordering a side portion. It’s a good place for a low-key meal, or for ducking in on a cold day.
