If you’re looking to nerd out about beer, then you’ll love The Rake. It’s one of the best spots not just in the Borough Market area for niche ales and beers, but in all of London. The beers on tap change twice daily, and the guys behind the bar probably know more about brewing than you can remember about your degree. The options for real ale are just as good as craft, and it’s a very small pub so definitely don’t show up with a big group.
