There are few places better to do this in London than the Delaunay, which is a perfect storm of everything you love about eating out - from the decor and service to the food and atmosphere, it’s a class act. This upscale grand cafe serves classical European food that’ll remind you of a weekend in Vienna, and while the schnitzels are very good, the chocolate torte is worth saving room for.
The Delaunay is a good call for a special dinner with friends and if you’re feeling really minted, it’s also great for drop-ins, a drink, afternoon tea, or even breakfast, because an omelette always tastes better when you eat it with polished silverware.
