Tacos Mx
A blink-and-you’ll-miss-it spot, this Mexican kitchen in Fulham is one of those ‘if you know you know’ kind of places. Order from the window and try to nab one of the few tables outside, because the sooner you eat the crispy baja fish or chilli beef tacos after getting your food, the better. The best way to use Tacos MX is to stop by for a speedy three taco lunch deal, or to come with one other person on a warm evening for a helping of assorted tacos while perching on a random doorway on a quiet road in SW6.
Everything is made fresh to order, so there's usually a little bit of a wait. But what’s 15 minutes when it comes to some of the best tacos London has to offer? Just try not to stare too much as you watch others perched on the benches get messy with a steak fajita burrito while you wait. Save some stomach space for dessert if you’ve got a sweet tooth, because they also make very good churros.

Baja Fish Taco
We can’t believe there was a time when we didn’t know about this taco’s existence. A perfectly fried butter fish fillet in a soft corn tortilla that has the perfect ratio of comfort to crunch. It's topped with tangy coleslaw and comes with generous pots of zesty guacamole (our favourite), hot habanero, and chipotle sauce on the side. This is one of the best tacos in London.

Queen Tinga Arepa
Someone once told us that arepas are overrated. And while we’d opt for the tacos almost every time, a single tomatoey chicken and melted cheese-filled corn pocket from this place is enough to make any arepa hater eat their words. (And a whole arepa).

Chilli Beef Taco
A hearty, meaty minced beef taco that does what it says on the tin. It’s slightly spicy, it’s satisfying, and it’s three mouthfuls of juicy beef with a high chance of you getting messy.
Prawn Taco Gobernador
This is our second favourite after the baja fish, and we could easily finish off a box of three of these light grilled prawn and melted cheese tacos for lunch.

Chicken Fajita Taco
Winner winner chicken fajita taco dinner has a nice ring to it, no? Maybe not, but this spicy chicken taco is filled with crunchy peppers, plenty of onions, and is a great way to spend £3.
Churros
The perfect ending to a meal here, these churros are thin and covered in cinnamon, and the dulce de leche sauce is caramel-y without being sickly.
