Nutshell is a cute restaurant. It’s got gold detailing, pink seating, and the kind of tiling that takes up several megabytes of data in your photo folder after a summer holiday. The food is at it’s best in the mezze section: brik sambusach (potato-filled samosas) are crispy and light, the smoky aubergine dip is great alone and even better piled onto warm bread. Bigger plates are a little so-so, but the kofte tabrizi, a rice-stuffed meatball, isn’t. It’s great. All in all it’s a solid spot in central, especially if you aren’t looking for anything too heavy on your stomach or your bank balance.
