La Pizzica

You’ll pretty much always find this place buzzing, whether with parents trying to feed their crayon-wielding children some courgettes masquerading as fries, or with couples splitting a plate of golden calamari on an outdoor table. When the sun’s out, the alfresco setup paired with the fresh baby tomato-filled spaghettoni cavalieri, feels surprisingly Continental for being beside a busy road in Fulham. Inside the rustic, relaxed restaurant, the menu of Apulian classics is always reliable: order a couple of starters, a rich cacio e pepe risotto to share, and act like you’re in the south of Italy instead of west London.
