Kerbisher & Malt
Kerbisher & Malt won’t be your granddad’s idea of a chippy, but despite the modern interior, it still looks and feels the part of a traditional chip shop. There’s a proper counter and plenty of seats for you to sit down and shovel warm fried potatoes in your face. More importantly, the fish and chips is very good. They’ll do you a grilled fish if you don’t want it deep-fried, and they’ve a tasty menu of extras like calamari and fish cakes along with the usual chippy standards like mushy peas and battered pork sausage.
