Fallow
Fallow is a slick, sustainable restaurant that just so happens to be home to London’s best sausage. The sausage in question glistens, comes with an apple ketchup that will make you ghost Heinz, and is so rotund that you feel like the pork is trying to break through the skin. It’s also over a tenner for a single sausage, which should be your first clue that prices stack up quickly here, especially if you’re getting involved in the small plates and truffle supplements. The setting fits the bill though. Inside, the dining room has that moody, polished, industrial look, while the outdoor terrace feels surprisingly Côte d’Azur and secluded given you’re a two-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus. It can feel a little serious at times, but it’s perfect for impressing clients over literal fallow, or sharing oysters on a date when you feel like cosplaying as someone who owns a suit.
