Where To Eat In Clerkenwell
Clerkenwell has some of the best and most understated restaurants in London. These are the ones you should be eating in.
The food at Anglo is excellent, but what we love the most about this place is that you can get a fine dining meal here (with all the bells and whistles) for the same price as a slightly extravagant midweek dinner. The food here is both creative and very good, and while the room won’t win any awards for its atmosphere, it doesn’t matter because you’re paying £55 for 11 courses of impressive food.
It’s perfect for anyone curious about high-end cooking, but affordable enough for anyone who’s had the familiar experience of watching Masterchef: The Professionals with a sad-looking Pot Noodle.
