Andi’s, a trendy neighbourhood cafe in Stoke Newington, is named for its owner Andi Oliver, mother of former famous person Miquita (though, disappointingly, no relation to John). As a place to hang out, it’s a pleasure - there’s a great vibe, a garden at the back, and a decent chance of spotting Alexa Chung or Nick Grimshaw popping in for a snack. The food won’t blow you away, but it’s tasty and reliable as a local spot for stuff you should eat (salad bowls, things with quinoa), and things you actually want to eat (the reuben sandwich is good).
