You can get two meals, along with a selection of four Japanese beers or a bottle of house wine, for £40 at this katsu specialist in Angel. The offer is valid every day except Sunday.


The ‘beat the curfew’ menu at this Irish spot in Shoreditch means you can get a three-course meal and a cocktail for £20, from 4pm to 6.30pm.

Until the end of October, this new pizzeria in Dalston is offering 20% off for dine-in customers who visit before 7pm.

This modern European spot in Brixton has things like buffalo mozzarella with shallots and crispy sage on the menu, and for bookings before 6.15pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can get their set menu at a discounted price of £33.


Casual all-day wine bar Levan is now starting dinner service at 5.30pm and offering their set menu at £33 to diners who join them for the first sitting. Plus, they have a lunch set menu every Friday where you can get two courses for £18 or three for £22.


This London Fields spot serving vegan noodles, dumplings, and bao is now offering some of its popular dishes at a discounted price from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesdays to Thursdays. They’re also doing a beer and shot for £3.


The smoked meat specialists at Hot Box are offering 20% off all food and two for one cocktails, wines and beers on Tuesdays to Fridays, 5pm to 6.30pm.


Crab meat spinach dumplings, sautéed scallop, and 25% off (up to £5 per person) Mondays to Thursdays throughout the whole of October are just three things you can get from both Royal China Club’s Baker Street and Canary Riverside locations.


Fancy a free bottle of prosecco? All you have to do is visit this Borough Market restaurant and fishmonger on Monday to Saturday between 5pm to 6pm and order the seafood platter. Oh, and quote ‘pop the curfew’ when making a reservation.


Set Menus

This excellent British restaurant now has a £10 ‘Steak Out To Help Out’ lunch menu from Tuesdays to Saturdays. The menu includes bavette steak with tarragon mayonnaise, confit potatoes, and treacle tart with clotted cream for dessert.


This Argentinian spot in Marylebone has a prix fixe menu which you can get on Wednesdays to Saturdays from 12pm to 2.30pm, and Tuesdays to Saturdays from 5.30pm to 6pm. The menu includes two courses for £19.50, or 3 for £23.50.


Technically this isn’t new, or different, to what our favourite Bloomsbury wine bar has been doing forever, but the set lunch menu had to be included in this list. Why? Because for £22 you can get three courses of excellent food, including things like baked chalkstream trout and roast Cornish gurnard & peperonata. They also have a two-course option for £18.


You can get a pre/post theatre set menu which includes two courses for £20 at this modern Indian spot in the West End. They have a great tikka masala and an option to get three courses for £25.


The mains at this British restaurant in Kensington are usually around the £20 mark. Which is what makes their £20 set lunch and dinner menu feel like such a bargain. Choose between two courses for £20, or add on a dessert for £24.


Two courses of steak hache and delice au chocolat noir can be yours for under £11 at this re-opened French brasserie in Islington. The prix-fixe is on all day, and if you’re happy to spend a little more you can get three courses and a glass of wine for £19.75.


The lunch special at this Italian spot off Columbia road includes things like mozzarella fritta and pollo e patate. One course for a tenner, two costs £15, and both include a glass of wine. It’s available Tuesdays to Fridays from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.


Happy Hours & Drinking Deals

You can get £5 cocktails from 4pm to 6pm everyday at both the Shoreditch and London Bridge locations of this piri-piri restaurant.


At this Bahraini spot in Chelsea, cocktails are half price between 4pm to 7pm, every day.


Two for one cocktails are available at both the Dalston and Peckham locations of this pizza restaurant, Mondays to Fridays from 5pm to 7pm.


This spot in St Pancras is offering £5 cocktails from 4pm onwards throughout October.


Thursdays to Saturdays, this bar and terrace inside the Standard Hotel, is offering two for one on cocktails from 7pm to 9pm.


Aperitivo hour at this Soho bar means you can get some drinks for £6 until 7pm, every day.


Tooting cocktail and wine bar, Goldfinch, have a new early-bird menu of six cocktails, and you can get two for £12 until 5pm, everyday.
