134 London Restaurants With New Delivery & Collection Options
As you know, London’s restaurants closed for dine-in service back in March, and throughout the period up to July 4th, when they were finally allowed to reopen, more and more restaurants got into collection and/or delivery, and others starting offering new specials. Even though we are allowed to go to restaurants again, we can still support those that might be unable to reopen or who are still offering takeaway to compensate for reduced seating. We’ll keep updating this guide with more information as we get it, so stay tuned, and stay well.

The Spots
The day has finally come... Bubala’s long-heralded delivery service is up and running and you can get their entire Middle Eastern menu around the East End. That means you can get everything from their addictive laffa bread to halloumi with black seed honey to finish off in your oven at home. Order your veggie feast here.
The okonomiyaki specialist is open seven days a week for delivery and collection, from 12 until 8pm. The Tokyo mix - pork, squid, and prawn - is our preferred pancake to start with, but don’t ignore the yaki-soba or the tempura either. They’re delivering across N, S, and W postcodes within 10 miles and you can order directly from the website.
Carousel invite chefs from all over the world to cook in their kitchen for a week or so, and now they’ve launched their ‘Greatest Hits’ series for delivery and takeaway - inspired by dishes from all the chefs that have had a residency in the restaurant. The menu changes every couple of weeks and Mexican is the cuisine to kick things off. Check here for more details.
If you live around Tooting, then you probably already know about Daddy Bao. And if you don’t know about Daddy Bao, then you should absolutely be ordering shiitake mushroom bao, handmade gyozas, and lots more from this Taiwanese spot. It’s open Thursday - Sunday and you can order via apps or call 0203 601 3232.
Upmarket Mayfair spot Jamavar is delivering a fine dining menu of Indian food seven days a week. The menu ranges from the tandoor to biryanis, as well as larger group set menu orders. Head to the website for more details.
The airy all-day Chelsea restaurant is offering a click-and-collect service on small plates like jamon croquettes, wedge salads, as well as pizzas and bowls.
One of London’s go-to Thai restaurants, Som Saa is now doing delivery its smack-in-your face regional Thai dishes. You can order classics like tod mon pla (fish cakes), som tam thai (green papaya salad), gaeng baa gai baan (jungle curry), and much more from here.
Rotisserie chicken pros Cocotte have a few locations in Hoxton, Notting Hill, and Parsons Green, and now they’re offering delivery and takeaway too. Head to their website to order whole chickens, roasted pepper salads, and other tasty bits.
The super-swish sushi restaurant is now offering delivery and collection, as well as premium £150 bento boxes. The extensive menu has individual sushi and sashimi - bluefin tuna, hand dived scallops - on top platters, and also small plates like black cod or wagyu beef sliders. Check here for more info.

A new opening in Dalston, Attawa, is cooking its full menu of Punjabi cuisine for delivery and takeaway. There’s samosa, chaat, tandoor chicken, curries, and lots more.
Out of all of London’s small-plates-serving-and-natural-wine-pouring restaurants, Levan is one of the best. The Peckham spot is now doing a menu of dishes to collect and finish at home, like potato, mushroom, and Vacherin pie, or slow-cooked lamb with mint and goat’s curd. You can pre-order everything from their website, including some choice bottles, of course.
Marylebone’s Jikoni has started Comfort and Joy - a vegetarian and vegan meal service inspired by cuisines all over the world. There are six boxes to choose from, with stuff like Omani lime dhal and sweet and sour aubergine curry on the menu. Everything you need is on their website.
The Singaporian kopitiam spot in Borough Market has begun collection and delivery every Thursday to Saturday. Hainanese chicken rice, fried chicken, and more is on the menu. Order via app and check their Instagram for more info.

Patty and Bun, our oh-so-familiar Sunday sofa BFFs, have launched Sidechick - a rotisserie chicken and sides takeaway and delivery service. The chicken comes in three marinades - lemon, butter, and herbs, za’atar, and piri piri - along with sides like crispy potatoes and smoky aubergine with labneh. It sounds good because it is good.
Bubala was one of our best new restaurants of 2019 so the news that they’re doing DIY shakshuka delivery kits is the best kind. Each kit comes with their shakshuka sauce, silky smooth hummus, four laffa breads from Ararat, and eggs as well. You can order for collection or delivery here.
Japanese mini-chain Ippudo are now delivering from their Goodge Street location. There are three types of ramen, as well as bento boxes and buns, and you can order via app.
The team behind Flor and Lyles have launched ASAP Pizza a new sourdough pizza brand. If Flor’s flatbreads (see above) are anything to go by, these will be pretty special. The ‘Tater’ - ogleshield cheese, new potato, parsley, and capers sounds particularly good. And yes, there is a Hawaiian on the menu. You can click and collect or get them delivered if you’re around Borough.
Popping up in the Crooked Billet in Clapton is Andi’s Wadadli Kitchen. It’s offering up Caribbean home cooking, like orange and ginger wings, fritter of the day, and Wadladi spiced Cubano pork belly. You can click and collect or order for delivery from the Billet’s website.
If you’re within five miles of Soho, then you’re in luck. Because it means you could soon be eating Bancone’s bucatini cacio e pepe, or their hazelnut chocolate mousse. The handmade pasta spot has got a short but very satisfying looking menu to order from.
The slick Italian spot - famous for its parmesan fries and oh-so-sexy atmosphere - is now doing delivery and collection Thursday to Saturday. The menu changes, but a meal for two will cost £80 and there are vegetarian and pescatarian options too. Pre-order here.

What do we miss most about the Quality Chop House? Everything. Literally everything. From the ye-olde-listed 19th Century room, to the wedge of ginger parkin with butterscotch and ice cream. Though you can’t quite enjoy either of those things yet, QCH is now cooking a full menu from Wednesday - Saturday for collection or delivery
What would you do to be in Campania right now? With a plate of pappardelle ragu in front of you, and a glass, sorry, bottle, of something happiness-inducing? Untold things, we assume. In the mean time, check their Instagram for daily menus and give them a call on 020 7613 0015 to collect from their spot off Columbia Road.
If you’ve been dreaming of waking up to a bacon and egg naan then you’ll have to wait a little longer. Breakfast isn’t yet on the menu of Dishoom’s new delivery service, but that chicken ruby is. And you’re lying to yourself if you think you wouldn’t eat that for breakfast. Delivery is from their Shoreditch, King’s Cross, and Kensington branches, and you can check if you’re within range here.
Malaysian deli Nasi Economy Rice is the sibling (and next-door neighbour) to laksa-specialist Sambal Shiok. The menu is inspired is by economy rice spots found across Malaysia, where you build your box from rice base, to main (like soy ginger chicken, or black bean fried tofu puffs) before adding extras like a fried egg or tomato samba. You can order for takeaway or delivery from here.
Fancy a takeaway? Claridge’s? Anyone? Yes, it is a strange old world we live in, but Davies & Brook is delivering from its home inside the Mayfair hotel. The box for one features fried chicken, three sides, house rolls, and raspberry cheesecake and will cost you £35. You can pick it up, or you can place an order to get it delivered direct from their website
East London’s go-to spot for potstickers, prawn wontons, and more is open for takeaway and delivery at both the original Clapton branch, and, starting June 15, from the Victoria Park location too.
Throw some linen on and perch some sunnies on top of your head, because Lorne’s collection-only at-home service screams summer. There’s heritage carrot and broccoli salad with a Vadouvan dressing, pecorino gnocchi, brown butter madeleines, and even an elderflower panna cotta. It’s Wednesday to Saturday only, and you can find all the details on their website.
The Indian-inspired spot is delivering from its Brixton and White City locations. Lamb leg korma, hyderbadi aubergine, and Keralan fried chicken all feature on the menu, as well as ‘feast’ deals for one or two people. Check whether you’re in range here, or give them a call to order for collection.
A-list pasta bar Padella, usually has (virtual) queues round-the-block for a seat at its Borough and Shoreditch pasta bars. Now they’re trialling pasta kits that you simply finish up at home. So if you fancy beef shin ragu or tomato tagliarini and you live in Islington or Hackney then their delivery bicycle will come to deliver on Friday afternoons. Pre-orders open at 6pm on Wednesdays. When we reviewed Flor in 2019, we said that if there was better cakes in London than their brown butter creations then we were yet to try them. Flor is now selling those cakes, along with other pastries, bread, wine, and soft serve ice cream for takeaway from their tiny spot near Borough Market. Their pastries are also available at Snackbar in Dalston, and P. Franco in Clapton.
Cheese, cold cuts, sardines, carabineros, and boquerones are all available for click and collect from this Spanish tapas specialist in Bermondsey and Esher. There’s also a range of ready-to-eat and finish-at-home dishes like octopus with parsnip purée, croquetas, and a whole leg of suckling lamb for two. Order here.
Lahpet have been serving up the cuisine of Myanmar in east London for a few years now, and their Bethnal Green Road spot in particular is a great place for tasty food and casual hang with friends. With salad and noodle making kits available from their online store, you can create their great food at home. They’ve also got a range of pantry items for delivery or pickup. Order here.
Gunpowder is an Indian restaurant that not only has a special place in our hearts, but in our Greatest Hits List. That’s why we’re so glad that they are now delivering their excellent food from their Spitalfields location. You can order things like their kashmiri, tandoori chicken in butter masala sauce, and malabar chicken wings here or here, or pre-order for collection via their website.
South American spot Assenheims 56 is delivering its famous grilled chicken in special sauce for lunch. Choose between their marinated chicken boxes, sandwiches, and vegan options here.
26 Grains have began delivering boxes filled with their quality food, around London Bridge. You can get breakfast boxes, aperitivo boxes, market boxes - which have enough for a three course meal for two - and everything boxes, which is all three boxes in one. This tapas bar in Peckham has reopened for collection meaning you can get things like mushroom croquettes with truffle oil, ox cheek, and tortillas. Gymkhana’s menu is filled with iconic dishes that are only available from this Mayfair restaurant. Dishes like kid goat keema, and wild muntjac biryani are just two of the reasons we think it’s the best Indian restaurant in London. When we reviewed Trishna we called the meen manga curry ‘one of the best fish curries you’ll ever have’. Thing is you could probably replace ‘fish curries’ with any of the dishes you’re going to get delivered from this Marylebone restaurant’s vast menu. Order here.

Mayfair’s Bombay Bustle have put together a delivery menu inspired by the flavours and culture of Mumbai. The Dabbawala menu is available all over London and includes favourites from the tandoor like their achari lamb chops, a selection of curries and biryanis, and of course all the breads and sides you could want. Meatball burgers, huge flavoured pizzas, and lasagne for four are all available for delivery from Fitzrovia’s Circolo Popolare. You can also order in a huge variety of ham, blocks of Italian cheese, and their Incomparable Lemon Pie, which they claim is as high as the box will allow it to go. Order here.

Branches of Royal China all over London are open for delivery and takeaway. You should know that all the food at Royal China is great, but it’s the dim sum that we go back to again and again. Happily their Baker Street branch is delivering the full range.
Usually you’d go to Brigadiers to have a little butter chicken and biriyani party but, now, Brigadiers comes to you. The decadent and delicious City restaurant is delivering its Indian barbecue all around London. All the details can be found here.
This all-day café and bakery on Newington Green is open on a collection and takeaway basis only. It’s just 10am till 3pm for now, with baked goods, wine, and food to go on offer, but there’s talk of dinner time pick-up service coming soon.
Just imagine sitting at Lina Stores counter, surrounded by pastel green and, more importantly, pasta. One day friends, one day. In the mean time, you’ll have to channel some of that Soho atmosphere into your home, via Lina Stores’ online shop. They’re delivering fresh pasta, including artichoke and truffle ravioli, as well as pizza meal kits, and loads of essentials.
Hoppers has been among the very best places in town to eat delicious Sri Lankan-inspired things ever since their first spot opened in Soho. Now they have two more branches (in Marylebone and King’s Cross), as well as an east London kitchen, and all of them are open for delivery. You should definitely get involved with their bone marrow varuval, and the black pork kari. But honestly, anything you get delivered is going to make you very happy.
Always one of the best bets for reasonably priced quality sushi in the West End, Sushi Atelier is now delivering. Choose from their huge range of sushi, sashimi, and rolls, or make life easy for yourself and just select one of their seven omakase options. Order here.

Hame is a delivery and collection-only menu developed by Adam Handling and the team at The Frog. Whether you keep things relatively simple with sourdough and chicken butter and a pheasant pot pie that serves four to six people, or go all in with a wagyu beef tartare and a whole lobster, everything comes with full instructions for serving at home. You should also get probably also get involved with their wines and cocktails, so check out the menus here.
Endo was our highest rated new restaurant of 2019, and while the 18-course omakase we’d usually recommend isn’t being served right now, you can order a premium bento box which they’re delivering throughout London. Keep an eye on their Instagram and then act quickly because they sell out fast, with a share of the proceeds going to Hospitality in Action.

This excellent and affordable pasta spot has now started offering a new at-home meal kit service based out of their Shoreditch sister restaurant, Smokestak. Suzi Tros is a fun and friendly Greek restaurant in Notting Hill serving some of our favourite meatballs in London. Those meatballs are now being delivered locally, along with other favourites from the menu like spanakopita, and pork belly souvlaki.
Mazi is the sister restaurant of Suzi Tros. It’s a bit more grown up, a bit more serious, a bit more expensive, and definitely one of our favourite places to eat in Notting Hill. Order from their delivery menu for a special night in.
Naughty Piglets is a brilliant neighbourhood spot serving some great food and wine in Brixton. They’re only doing 40 covers a day, which means if you like the sound of dishes like BBQ pork belly with XO rice and Korean sauce, you’re going to have to keep your eye on their Instagram and place your order for the following week. And you’re going to need to move fast.
Crispin’s an all-day restaurant in Spitalfields, but they’re limiting delivery to to breakfast and brunch for now. Options range from scrambled eggs with Berkswell on sourdough to daal, purple kale, and black turnip pickles on flatbread. They’re also delivering coffee. Order here.
As well as being our quarantine nickname, Ugly Dumpling is delivering it’s new-age dumplings, frozen, with cooking instructions. Choose from fillings like satay chicken, prawn and chive, and mushroom and truffle. DM them on Instagram to place an order.

Cérès is a Southern European restaurant in Newington Green which is now open for takeaway and delivery. They’ve got everything to make your meal special, from handcut sirloin tartare and duck breast, to fresh pappardelle and birthday cakes. Brunswick House in Vauxhall has recently launched Brunswick at Home where you can get their British food delivered to your door. Pick between the à la carte choices, or order a set menu dinner for two starting from £35. You can also order cocktails, beer, and keg wine pouches.
Almost the whole Din Tai Fung’s menu is now available for delivery, from their special noodle soup with braised beef through to wontons and steamed buns. Sadly the xiao long bao aren’t on the menu for now, but their shao mai, jiao zi, and steamed buns are all available in a number of varieties.
The Coal Office in King’s Cross have started a Fresh Food Hub. Which means you can follow their Instagram to find out which recipe they’re going to be making tomorrow and pre-order it today by emailing ToYou@CoalOffice.com. If you’d rather make it yourself, there’s the option of having the ingredients delivered so you can follow the recipe with them.
The London branch of steak restaurant Le Relais de Venise is famous for only having one option. It’s always been like that. You get steak. You get special sauce. You get french fries. And you get a green salad. Somethings never change. But somethings do. And now, for a limited time only - or until the pandemic is over - you can order delivery of a baguette filled with steak, sauce, and french fries. The only choices you need to make is whether you want more fries on the side and which of their four desserts you’re going to get. Order here.
Mac and Wild have been making nationwide deliveries of their butcher’s supplies since early in the pandemic, but their venimoo burger kits are a newer offering. £28 gets you everything you need for four burgers made up of a beef patty, a venison patty, cheese, lettuce, gherkins, two sauces, and some mustard. The always-popular east London coffee shop is delivering ‘Brunch at Home’, a weekly changing cook-at-home series that works with excellent restaurants nearby - like Brat, The Marksman, Lardo, Som Saa - and includes coffee, plus a boozy drink.

London’s favourite Taiwanese restaurant has launched it’s own delivery service which, in true Bao style, looks and tastes fantastic. Rice Error is available from their Borough and Fitzrovia locations (with Kings Cross and Hackney incoming). The cha shao pork belly rice box is particularly mouthwatering and we’re happy to report that their famous fried chicken travels well. Very well.
The Persian spot in Soho is opening kitchens across north, south, east, west and central, to ensure that large swathes of London can enjoy their jujeh kebabs and oh-so-smooth hummus in the comfort of their own home. Check their website for details where you are.
Leroy has moved some letters about in its name (and yes, added one more) to launch Royale, a new rotisserie chicken delivery service. Half a juicy chicken, seasoned with their own blend of herbs and spices, will set you back £12. Or a whole bird with potatoes and salad to share is £38. There’s a cod’s roe side and dips like roast chicken aioli too.
Vegetarian haven Mildreds is delivering from its King’s Cross and Dalston locations. There’s a vegan Sri Lankan curry, mock duck bahn mi, heat-at-home meals, and more.
Barbecue-season is incoming, and there’s no better place to get inspiration from then Smokestak. The Saturday-only takeaway and NE London delivery service features their famous brisket, pulled pork, spicy sausage, and more. Like all the best things in life, the sides are measured in pints, and we’d get a couple of the burnt end beans for sure.

If you’re around Shoreditch, then you’ll want to know that handmade pasta pros Burro e Salvia are open for delivery and collection. Whether you go for ricotta and parsley tortelloni, or agnolotti cavour with butter and sage, everything’s prepared ready for you to finish at home.

La Mia Mamma has a special place in our hearts. And now that they’re sending out Mamma’s Survival Kits, they have our whole hearts. The kits range in size from enormous, to extremely large, to ‘small’, and include wine, pasta dough, pizza dough, sauces, a sense of hope, and so much more. You can find them all here.
If you’re looking for something on the fancier side, then Clipstone is one of those restaurants where all the food looks like it should be part of Frieze. Hackney’s favourite Chinese-inspired vegan spot is doing local delivery and collection Wednesday - Saturday of their full menu, from those dan dan noodles, to mapo tofu, and langya potatoes.
Little Duck At Home sounds like the nourishing Pixar film we could all do with watching (and gently sobbing to) right now, but it’s actually Little Duck The Picklery’s new Thursday to Sunday collection service. It ranges from a ‘Beirut Breakfast’ with flatbread, labneh, pistachio dukka and honey, to chicken, asparagus, and wild garlic pies. Check it out here.

The high-end St. James’ sushi spot is delivering its maki, sashimi, nigiri, and set menus around the West End. There are also set menu options for up to 4 people and a £100 bottle of sake if you’re looking to make a memorable takeaway a little more hazy.
You can find some of our favourite pizza in London at Theo’s. Or rather, it can find you because you can order it right to your door. These chewy, saucy, Neapolitan-style pizzas are available for collection and delivery from both their Camberwell and Elephant and Castle restaurants.

Modern Italian trattoria Briciole is now open for takeaway. You can get essential food and groceries from the deli and hot meals from the restaurant. Passo To Go is delivering fresh pasta, sauces, and pizza kits anywhere within the M25. Sauces range from a sausage and nduja ragu to charred courgette, and pizza kits come in couple and family-sized packs.
“The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli”. That’s one of our favourite Seinfeld quotes. It isn’t related to this Chelsea fishmongers and restaurant, but we thought you should know it. You should also know that The Sea, The Sea are delivering things like mixed sashimi platters or a lobster salad, as well as black cod with miso and rice.

The Broadway Market butcher and restaurant are stocking bits from friends nearby, like Dusty Knuckle sourdough, or fresh pasta from Ombra, as well as their own ramen packs, complete with pork broth and pork belly. Check their Insta for updates.

You can enjoy True Craft’s delicious sourdoughs, including our favourite, the Bang! Pepper, from the comfort of your own home if you’re lucky to live within a couple of miles of their South Tottenham base. Order pizza here.
Whilst isolation has got you calling fish fingers lightly-crumbed cod digits, Lyon’s has started delivering for the first time. This seafood specialist is delivering things like crispy softshell crab burgers and a very casual whole chargrilled plaice with seaweed butter, straight to your door. You can order here.
Quality Wines do indeed deliver quality wines. Well done, Sherlock. But more importantly, this romantic little Farringdon wine bar is also delivering a changing weekly menu of things like gnochetti sarde with fennel sausage, aubergine caponata, and pistachio upside down cake. Planning a date night? Each meal serves two.
For the sake of our dignity we’re not going to disclose how much cheese we’ve ordered from Holloway’s Provisions since lockdown began. But we are going to encourage you to do the same. Expect excellent wines, cheese, and charcuterie.
Option one: call your ex and say something along the lines of ‘so like, lockdown. Mad isn’t it? Would you be interested in marrying me for a bit?’. Option two: call 020 7724 4545 to order grilled octopus and suckling lamb shoulder from Lurra. We know which one we’d pick. This top Spanish spot in Marylebone is also delivering meat, cheesecake slices, and wine across London from their online shop.
No, you’re not going to put some raw tuna on a seaweed crisp and call it dim sum. Order from high-end Chinese restaurant Hakkasan in Mayfair instead. There’s a whole Peking duck. There’s a classic steamed dim sum selection. And there’s a champagne brunch for two that’s got ‘Welcome to your isolation birthday babe’ written all over it.
Eating a whole leg of ibérica jamon for breakfast? Do it. The rulebook went out the window around minute six of lockdown.
