Just because you’re quarantined doesn’t mean you can’t have brunch. Or a proper breakfast.
Brunch isn’t a meal. It’s a state of mind. The state of mind being, wow, isn’t it wild to drink booze whilst eating a poached egg. But rather than attempting to flip the perfect pancake at home, you can order from one of London’s cafés and restaurants that are delivering your classic breakfast foods. So whether you’re after some classic scrambled eggs and a flat white at 9am, or a big deal shakshuka and french toast feast to go with your mimosas, this list has what you’re looking for.
Citywide Options
Champions of shakshuka and delightful things that will up your Vitamin C count, Ottolenghi are bringing their great breakfast dishes directly to your door. They’re delivering from their spots in Islington, Notting Hill, and Belgravia. Expect fresh homemade granola, a big celeriac shawarma situation, and a shakshuka kit for two, that comes complete with orange juice and focaccia.
Where The Pancakes Are is erm, where the pancakes are. More specifically, this is where you’ll find some of the best, buttermilk batter pancakes in London. Now, you can get them delivered to your house with their meal kits. From bacon to 100% pure Canadian maple syrup, the kits come with everything you need for a huge, indulgent breakfast, and there’s even a special gift kit including prosecco and a poetry book if you’re feeling particularly bougie.

Café Lemon
Café Lemon is a spot in Seven Sisters that’s delivering pretty much anything and everything you could want to wake up to. Aside from classic fry ups and avo toast, there are Turkish eggs, coffee, and even an excellent burger selection if you went a bit heavy last night.
Roni's Bagel Bakery
A certified mensch in north London terms, Roni opened up his first bagel bakery 30-odd years ago, and you can get bagels, shawarma, French toast, shakshuka, and more delivered from the Belsize Park or Muswell Hill locations.
Coffee Circus
Open until 3pm daily, Coffee Circus is a Crouch End café that will help you out every day of the week. There are egg and bacon rolls for when you’ve run out, bubble and squeak for a Saturday morning treat, and a whopper of a full English for when that glass turned into a bottle. There is, obviously, plenty of coffee too, including very helpful supplies, available for delivery or takeaway.
If you’ve woken up feeling riper than the bananas you will inevitably turn into bread, then you probably want to talk to Frank. This Highbury café is doing all sorts for takeaway - essential supplies, booze - but you need to know about their bacon/sausage sandwich with garlic chutney on a potato bap. Fried eggs are optional, but they’re also not. There’s also a hot roast chicken bap with Japanese mayo and fries, and drinks too.
Latteria in Angel is open until 9pm daily which is great news if, like us, you’re a fan of brinner (a.k.a. breakfast for dinner). If that’s not for you, then maybe eggs royale or focaccia pizza is. Order them, eggs, avo-toast, and more for delivery here.
The Good Life Eatery
The Good Life is a kind-of-Californian inspired café that’s all about bowls, juices, and saying stuff like “great job!”. They’re delivering from their St John’s Wood location if you fancy some vegetable-based goodness.
South
Despite the name, you can find things on this menu that don’t include avocado. This health-conscious catering company turned delivery service is delivering everything from breakfast bowls and bagels with cream cheese, avocado, and smoked salmon, to spirulina pancakes and banana and strawberry waffles. We love the berrymix and cream waffles and egg royal bagel in particular, but you can check out their full menu here.
This all day cafe on Coombe Lane is the last place to make you feel judged if you wake up at 2pm craving a bacon and egg roll. Their breakfast and brunch menu is served from 9am to 5pm every day of the week, and they’ve got brioche rolls filled with poached egg and avocado, full English breakfasts, and blueberry pancakes. All the food is excellent, and the best part? Their lunch menu is also great, so you can mix it up with some pancakes, a halloumi burger, and those winning chips.
Juliet's
How do you like your eggs in the morning? Served with smoked heritage potatoes, whipped goat’s cheese, and wild marjoram? That’s perfect, because that’s exactly what Juliet’s serves from 9am daily. This popular Tooting brunch spot are delivering creative takes on classics, like their sourdough BLT with crispy cured bacon and their scrambled eggs that comes topped with pumpkin seed dukkah. And yes, you do need a pistachio cake slice and a flat white too.
On Tupi’s menu you’ll find something called the Mr Bacon Sandwich and a benedict situation called the Mrs Eggs Royale. We bet they’re getting on way better than us and our partners. Anyway, that bacon sandwich comes in a toasted pitta bread with tomato jam, and you’ll also find plenty of sweet potato, avocado, and chorizo across their brunch menu. HOB ~ Heart Of Balham
Well, that bottle of ’secco in the fridge isn’t going to drink itself is it? Pair it with this neighbourhood cafe’s classic Lebanese breakfast, Turkish eggs, or shakshuka. If you’re after something with a little more lunch vibe, they’re also delivering big brunch sandwiches like a scrambled egg and chorizo baguette.
Putney Pantry
Putney Pantry might sound like the most self-contented thing since Waitrose started calling limoncello puddings an essential, and we love it. Very much your local café situation, they’re delivering all of your brunch and breakfast classics from 8.30am. You can get involved in their vegetarian breakfast if you’re after something filling that also contains a solid vitamin hit, or go for the rarebit on sourdough if you’re after something a little more special.
Scrambled And Wild
Two adjectives that very aptly describe our isolation mood, Scrambled and Wild is basically one big egg fest in Peckham. When it comes to toppings, you’ll find cherry tomatoes, pistachio dukka, avocado, feta, and chorizo. The classic scrambled eggs with sea salt is just £2.99 and they’re also delivering halloumi sandwiches, a smoked salmon number, as well as beer and lemonade.
2 Girls' Cafe
Apart from sounding like the opening scene of a Phoebe Waller-Bridge play, 2 Girls’ Cafe is a cool and casual Peckham spot that are all about that vegan brunch lifestyle. There’s a little bit of everything on the menu from scrambled tofu, to falafel wraps, smoothies, and avocado sides. Although we’ve got our eye on something called the Wonderwoman, which involves homemade courgette hummus, avocado, tomato, bread, and coconut bacon. Obviously.
East
The snackbar is what we’re calling our kitchen counter these days. It’s where we lean and eat hummus chips, perch with a block of cheddar, and look at hopelessly when the cupboards aren’t responding to our wishes. It’s also an excellent café in Dalston that’s making weekly changing menus to order or collect Wednesday through Friday. Gokyüzü
Gökyüzü is probably London’s most well-known Turkish restaurant, but you might not think about it first thing. But why wouldn’t you be thinking about menemen, halloumi and scrambled eggs. Or fried eggs, sucuk, and borek? Exactly. Order here for delivery.
We’ve lost count of the number of times Hash has saved us on a Saturday or Sunday morning, at around 3pm. Without getting all misty-eyed, this is one of our favourite brunch spots around. Not just because they’re obsessed with hash browns (hello, soulmate), but because they do things like a bucket of bacon with maple syrup, or tater tots with hollandaise. Order here, thank us later.
Sadly, we won’t be able to head to Bistrotheque on a Sunday, immediately order a cocktail to recalibrate, before napping face first in their potato and comté pie for the foreseeable future. Thankfully they are doing brunch on Sundays (and only Sundays) from 11am to 3pm. You can pre-order a brunch bonanza deal with farinata, French toast, pancakes, and bloody mary here.
West
This Notting Hill spot has a stupid name. But who are we to judge, we named our childhood fish Captain Bubbles. Originally from LA, you can now get this fast food joint’s brunch sandwiches delivered. Don’t expect your basic egg and bun though. Their toppings include everything from hard-cooked eggs mixed with honey mustard aioli, to chipotle ketchup with hardwood smoked bacon, and a buttermilk biscuit if you’re after something sweet.
Baker & Spice
Porridge. Smoked salmon bagels. Turkish eggs. American style pancakes. No, we’re not listing everything we ate before 10am this morning, these are some of the dishes you can expect from Belgravia and Chelsea’s Baker And Spice branches. They’ve got your brunch beverage classics covered too with fresh juices, coffee, and fresh teas. Hit them up here for delivery, and add an almond croissant to your order whilst you’re at it.
My Old Dutch

Boys N Berry
This brunch spot sounds exactly like the kind of Katy Perry song we would have absolutely butchered during a karaoke session in our former life as people that could leave the house. With a big focus on keeping it kind of healthy, Boys N Berry are delivering poached eggs, granola, berry waffles, iced lattés, and big fruity smoothies. Hally's
Ever tried to clean mango out of a smoothie maker? We have, and honestly we’ve had more fun falling over. Get your big-deal juice hits from Parson Green’s Hally’s instead. They’ve got everything from a berry, banana, oats and almond number to smashed avocado on sourdough with tomato chutney. B Bagel Bakery Bar
This bagel spot in Fulham is delivering brunch boxes across London. Choose between a box for two or family-sized box, both of which contains all the ingredients you need to make your own brunch spread. There’s bagels (duh), smoked salmon, bagel fillings, fresh fruit and veg, eggs, freshly squeezed juice, and pastries. So if you want to make a morning (afternoon) out of it, order your box here.
If you’ve only just realised that you need 34 separate ingredients to make a brunch spread like the one you’re used to, Proud Mary is here to show you that you only really need one thing: to be within their delivery zone. This much-loved neighbourhood café is now delivering breakfast and brunch. Of course you can get all the basics like your full English, and smashed avocado on sourdough, but they’re also delivering things like Mexican breakfast, satay chicken bagels, and blueberry pancakes. The Lebanese Bakery
Three words. All. Day. Breakfast. That’s exactly what this Covent Garden bakery and café offer, just in flatbread form. As well as their manousheh, you’ll find baked eggs, spicy beef sausage, and lamb confit. If you decide to add some of their hummus and banana and honey flatbread to your order, we really wouldn’t blame you.
Jardin Du Jasmin
What day is it? Who are you? What’s going on? Our answer to all of the above is ‘no idea… brunch?’. If you live in or around Marylebone, you’ve got a great brunch option in Middle Eastern spot, Jardin Du Jasmin. Be warned that they only deliver breakfast until 12pm, but it’s worth cutting an hour off your lie-in to order their red shakshuka, poached eggs with pomegranate, and traditional hummus fatteh.
Brunch is the result of grown-ups wanting a legitimate reason to eat breakfast at 2pm. Hide is the kind of restaurant that feels like the result of a millionaire falling deeply in love with some truffle. The two combined, fantastic. This seriously upmarket Mayfair restaurant are now delivering excellent dishes, including the signature truffle croque monsieur and their homemade granola. Heads up, their French toast ruined all other french toasts for us, and it’ll do the same for you.
Anyone who eats pizza for breakfast is someone we’d probably get along with. But anyone that eats Mac and Wilds Scottish ‘breakfast burger’ is someone we respect. A lot.
