Laugh in the face of your oven, and flatly deny your banana bread phase ever happened, because the government has confirmed that restaurants, cafés, and pubs, can reopen for indoor service from July 4th.
In an unexpected turn of events, there were some clear takeaways from the announcement, such as:
Social distancing will be reduced from 2m to 1m from the above date.
All restaurants, cafés, and pubs will be limited to table service indoors.
Mandatory safety measures will include: avoiding face-to-face seating, extra ventilation, changing shift teams, and PPE to be worn.
Businesses will also be asked to share customer details for track-and-trace purposes. The less said about that, the better.
Once more details are released, we’ll let you know. But in the meantime, if you’re not too keen on this news, here’s our guide to The Best Restaurants With Outdoor Seating In London.
