A running list of London restaurants that have permanently closed during the coronavirus pandemic.
Even though new places continue to open, this is an incredibly challenging time for restaurants. The initial shutdown, reopening at reduced capacity, concerns for health and safety, and then lockdown 2.0 has forced many to close their doors permanently.
All have been affected - from favourite neighbourhood spots to bars where you once drank way too much on your birthday. Here is a running list of all the spots that have closed during the pandemic, divided by neighbourhood. If you know a place that should be included, please send an email to london@theinfatuation.com.
And if you’re looking for ways to show support, order delivery, tip well, and be considerate when you get a chance to eat at restaurants again.
