Houston may not be much of a patio city during certain times of the year (yeah, we’re talking to you, August), but the First Ward spot Spring Street Bar & Social Garden’s aims to erase those summer, and sometimes winter, woes. Grab a refreshing cocktail, play some cornhole, relax on a porch swing on the massive patio, or dig into a couple quesadillas from Clutch City Tacos. No matter where you sit, you’ll be surrounded by plants, color, and a lot of fake flower installations. Bring a couple friends, or even a couple different dates, to Spring Street Bar & Beer Garden, especially if you need to get some fresh air with your drink.
