Being a brutally hip wine bar and shop in Montrose is tough, which is why Light Years doesn’t label any of the wine for sale on its shelves. Who’s got the time to write all that information down when you’re slinging bottles of Slovenian orange wine or pouring some funky chilled French red by the glass. Luckily, even if you don’t have a list of obtuse natural winemakers cataloged permanently in your head, whatever you pull off the shelves or are suggested by the bartender will probably be pretty good, if not slightly weird. Just squeeze into one of their tiny tables or stretch out on the string-light lit patio. Here you’re cool by association.
