With all the flair of a mod 1970s living room, dining at Eau Tour in Rice Village feels like an invite to your chicest friend’s house. From the people behind Local Foods, this French bistro serves dishes like steak frites with an oyster au poivre as well as mushroom and raclette dumplings. There’s also “caviar and roe for the people” served at prices that don’t require a small personal loan. While you can come by for dinner with a few of your pals, we recommend sitting at a golden bar stool during the Happy Hour, where you can have a $7 dill martini, or embrace your inner child by ordering the $18 “Happy Meal,” which consists of a Kronenbourg, a double cheeseburger, and fries.
