Vanessa Bayer of SNL

Vanessa Bayer of SNL

As is the norm, every five years or so, SNL goes through a cast makeover. Top tier talent move on to star in movies, tv shows, and some even get the call to be late night tv hosts. Of the current talent crop, our money is on Vanessa Bayer following in a predecessors footsteps. We find her brand of comedy really damn funny.

Vanessa recently started her own webisode series called Sound Advice, where she poses as a media coach and offers up awkward advice to bands. We love making fun of the music business, so this is right up our alley. The first skit launched this week, featuring Friday Fives alums, Fun.

Check out Vanessa's go-to restaurant picks below and tune into SNL, Saturday nights at 11:30pm on NBC.

Otto Perfect For: Girls' Night Out 1 5th Ave.

"You can have wine and cheese in the entrance area (enoteca) while you wait for a table, and then carbo load on the most delicious food ever. Tell me what would make a better girls night, I dare you."

Five Leaves Perfect For: Hipsters 18 Bedford Ave.
