The Lonely Island

The Lonely Island

The Lonely Island are comedy legends. Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer have made you laugh, and also made you go out of your way to step foot on a boat, just so you could actually say "I'm On A Boat. " Now, they are dropping restaurant knowledge for Friday Fives.

The Lonely Island were responsible for all the hilarious SNL video shorts of the last decade. "Dick In A Box," still holds up to this day. In addition to all of their SNL success, these three high school buddies have now released three albums and are busy working on an untitled movie they co-wrote and star in, produced by Judd Apatow. They also finally decided to come over to the dark side: THEY JOINED SOCIAL MEDIA. Follow @TheLonelyIsland on Instagram, and TLIboys on Snapchat.

"There are countless Korean BBQ places in K-Town, so it's impossible to know which one is best. But this one is best. It is pure classic Korean BBQ."

Petit Trois Perfect For: Dining Solo 718 N. Highland Ave.

"Petit Trois is a tiny french bistro that's basically in a gas station parking lot. Once inside, the open kitchen and bar seating will make you forget you're in LA. But don't worry, when you leave you'll remember because you'll be in a gas station parking lot."

Yuca's Taqueria Perfect For: Cheap Eats 2056 Hillhurst Ave

"This tiny taco/burrito stand is located in a liquor store parking lot. Get the cochinita pibil and a Jarritos, and then get all messed up at that liquor store."

Providence Perfect For: Date Night 5955 Melrose Ave

"Are you fancy? We are very fancy. When you go on a date with a dude from TLI you are gonna get PAMPERED. So, if you are one of the three women we are married to, get ready for a delicious, exciting, beautiful meal at Providence."

Musso & Frank Grill Perfect For: Classic LA Establishment 6667 Hollywood Blvd

“Musso & Frank opened in 1919, making it LA’s oldest standing restaurant. It has classic dark wood paneling and red booths. And a great filet and perfect martinis. It is everything you could want in a classic old school, Orson Welles’ Hollywood vibe. And if you want a new school, sleazy Hollywood vibe, it’s right outside.”
