Robert Patrick

Robert Patrick

Today we have favorite Los Angeles picks from the star of the hit CBS drama Scorpion and all-around bad ass, Robert Patrick. Robert has lived in Los Angeles for over 30 years, so needless to say, he knows our city pretty well.

You probably know him best as everyone's favorite shape-shifting android assassin, T-1000, from the iconic and still completely terrifying, Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Basically, if you ever lost sleep over a certain movie, you can probably thank Robert Patrick. But when he's not playing cinema and TV's most memorable villains, Robert Patrick's a total family man, who loves riding motorcycles, eating a good steak, and raising money for disabled veterans. What a guy. Check out his LA picks below or pay the consequences...

Bombo at Grand Central Market Perfect For: Dining Solo 317 S Broadway

"I found this place doing jury duty. I ate here pretty much everyday I served. They had unbelievably creative dishes with seafood and pasta and they make their own sausage. Fantastic food and a great place to hang and people watch. They have a real good lemonade."

The Sycamore Kitchen Perfect For: Taking My Hot Wife Out 143 S. La Brea Ave.

"It's laid back, friendly, and they have great food! Salads, veggies and a killer BLT. I also dig their coffee, granola, and fresh baked desserts. They have a cool seating area outside. It's a fun place to hang and my wife loves it! On La Brea so you can hit some stores and buy something for your gal after you’ve treated her to a good meal."

Perfect For: Action At The Bar

"For me this is pretty easy. I don't drink, but I am a member of a Motorcycle Club that does. So we have our own clubhouse were we can party and not bother anybody. We are very lucky to have a private building behind a VFW in Canyon Country. Invitation only. We have a bar, satellite TV, and a pool table. We can smoke, drink, and have a good time. Saturday night UFC fights are our favorite. A lot of good times, a lot of Brotherhood! We primarily use the clubhouse as a meeting place to plan our fundraising activity. Our club was founded in 1946 by Veterans coming home from World War II. The Boozefighters MC Chapter 101 Charitable Foundation has a mission to raise money year round for Disabled Veterans. We are very proud of our efforts and encourage all motorcycle enthusiasts in SoCal to check it out!"

Novo Café Perfect For: Secret Celebrity Spotting 3900 W Riverside Dr

"I guess it won't be so secret after this! Great Italian food! Super clean and healthy. I love their Tuscan Steak with Broccoli. Laid back and casual and I run into more actors I have worked with there than anyplace else. It’s near the Scorpion writers office. It has outdoor seating as well."

Lucy's El Adobe Cafe Perfect For: Family Time 5536 Melrose Ave

"Lucy is family, I have been going to Lucy's since coming to Hollywood back in 1984. She has always been making sure I am well-fed and always supportive of my career. My wife and I love Lucy’s. We have had birthday parties for our kids there, and as a matter of fact, when my wife was pregnant with my daughter, Lucy not only predicted her date of birth but the hour. Many family milestones have been celebrated there. When my daughter left for college recently she requested her last dinner with the family be there. The opening scene in Gangster Squad was shot there, with me, Josh Brolin and Michael Pena. The food is great! The staff is fantastic!!"
