We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. With restaurants around the country reopening, we understand that socializing in any form might still feel strange, and poses risks too. Should you go out to eat? That’s up to you. But we’ll continue to keep you informed as best we can. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at community@theinfatuation.com.

Rob Bailey

Rob Bailey

Rob Bailey, by all reasonable measures, is a dude who knows his stuff. He ran DataSift, a company that made it big mining useful information from the Twitter "firehose," and is now a venture partner at Akkadian Ventures, a company that lets employees with illiquid equity — i.e., every tech employee in SF who doesn't work for $FB or $TW — sell their stock to the secondary market for a nice chunk of change. We plan to do this promptly with our diversified portfolio of failed early-stage startup investments. Secret shares are still worth something, right?

Rob also knows his food game — anyone who includes Smitten and Coi in the same lineup has a diversified portfolio of their own. The Chairman is also the best food truck in town, so good pick there amigo.

If you're looking to offload some of your Slack shares, or maybe trade them in for Instacart's offerings, Rob's your man. Just hang out at the more meat-friendly joints in town, like Cockscomb. There's nothing like a deal sealed over servings of roast pig's head.

Rob's "Perfect For" Picks

Big Night Out

Cockscomb (564 4th St.)- "Absolutely incredible cuts of meat with a nod to the history of San Francisco. Chris Cosentino does an incredible job."

Quick Eats

Chairman Truck (670 Larkin St.)- "Incredible bao sandwiches. Check their Twitter account for daily updates on location."

Authentic Ethnic Eats

Espetus (1686 Market St.)- "I grew up in Brazil and Espetus does an amazing job with recreating the flavors I remember from when I was a kid in Rio."

Unique Dining Experience

Smitten Ice Cream (432 Octavia St.)- "Actually more of a dessert place. They use liquid nitrogen to make delicious ice cream on demand."

Impressing Out of Towners

Coi (373 Broadway)- "I have tremendous respect for Daniel Patterson and everything he has done push innovation in Bay Area food."
