Michaela Conlin

Michaela Conlin

Today we have favorite Los Angeles restaurant picks from actress Michaela Conlin, better known as Angela Montenegro on the hit FOX series Bones.

But when she's not playing TV's greatest forensic facial reconstruction specialist, Michaela is hitting the pavement in search of the best food LA has to offer. And judging by her picks, we can confidently say she knows whats up. Check out all her favorite spots below, and keep up her on Twitter @MichaelaConlin

Michaela's "Perfect For" Picks

First/Early In The Game Dates

El Prado (1805 W.Sunset Blvd) - "Cozy spot that’s perfect for a glass of wine or beer. The interior is chic and understated with a beautiful wood bar and exposed brick. Plenty of microbrews if you’re into that, plus some yummy bar snacks to munch on."

Outdoor/Patio Situation

Speranza (2547 Hyperion Avenue) - "Beautiful outdoor patio with lots of yummy pasta dishes. I’ve been to a few birthday dinners here, it’s a perfect place to drink too much wine. The Bucatini Amatriciana is delicious."

Authentic Ethnic Eats

Rice Bar (419 W. 7th St.) - "Tiny Filipino lunch joint downtown that serves up the most delicious rice bowls. Lines out the door on most days. The chicken rice is my favorite."

Classic LA Establishment

Bar Stella (3932 Sunset Blvd.) - "The restaurant is a classic but the bar is great too. Slightly upscale spot with some very strong cocktails. It can get crowded so go early and stake out one of the cozy couches."

Unique Dining Experience

POT At The Line Hotel (3515 Wilshire Blvd.) - "A Koreatown gem, one of my favorite spots in the city. Great food, great music. The Kimchi Fried Rice is my favorite but the huge pots are incredible too. The Commissary is also worth checking out."
